Spanish Levels

Learn Spanishs ProgramOur courses are designed for those who wish to explore the Latin and Ecuadorian culture and gain a fruitful and successful experience. Our goal is to help you to communicate in Spanish. Our standard program has three levels :

Beginners: You will gain a basic knowledge of grammar, and will be able to understand the language for practical situations of the day to day life. You will be taught to read and comprehend texts from recent Spanish reviews, newspapers, and best sellers.

Intermediate: This course is next level up from Beginners, and is intended for people who already have a basic knowledge of the Spanish language. It deals with a general revision of basic grammatical topics and readings. The course's aim is to improve text comprehension and learn new practical expressions relevant on conversational level. Furthermore, this course level deepens the grammar knowledge and gives an introduction to the Spanish culture. It concentrates on reading and comprehension of longer texts, Specifical vocabulary and practical training.

Advanced: This level is intended for people with good understanding of the Spanish grammar and good conversational skills. You will study grammar at the highest level, and will go into Spanish culture in depth.


Standard Spanish Course: This course, 20 lessons/week, is the most popular of all our Spanish courses, allowing you plenty of free time.

Intensive Spanish Course: This course, 25 lessons/week, helps you learn more Spanish to ensure you make rapid progress with your Spanish during your time in Ecuador.

Super-Intensive Spanish Course: This course, 30 lessons/week. This course is ideal if you want to learn as much Spanish as you can during your study program in Ecuador or if you dispose of a short time to learn Spanish.


Spanish Study ELEP organizes cultural activities once a week (only on Fridays).

1 st Week: cultural visits

2 nd Week: cooking "Ecuadorian food" (students will cooperate with all preparations)

3 rd Week: dancing lessons: Salsa and Merengue

4 th Week: Literature, Latino American History, videos, Ecuadorian culture.

A minimum number of participants are required for every activity. These activities will have an extra cost (bus or entrances tickets, etc).
